Summary
Bristan D40G-9 40mm Ceramic Disc Cartridge for Java Pisa and Hourglass Mixer Taps
The Bristan D40G-9 is a 40mm ceramic disc mixer cartridge used in specific older revisions of Bristan Java Pisa and Hourglass basin and bidet mixer taps. The cartridge sits inside the tap body and controls mixed water flow and temperature through movement of the single lever.
This cartridge should be identified by the original part and the exact tap revision rather than by the 40mm diameter alone. Later revisions of some Bristan Java and Pisa taps use a different cartridge.

Before Ordering
Compare the removed cartridge with the dimensions above and confirm the tap model or revision where possible. Do not select this cartridge from the 40mm body diameter alone because different Bristan cartridges have been used across later revisions of some of these ranges.
If you are unsure which cartridge you need, use the Di Vapor Part Identification Service.
