The BR-AR892 is a hot-side 1/2 inch ceramic disc cartridge compatible for Bristan Artisan kitchen tap applications that use this specific 28-spline cartridge format. It controls hot-water flow through the tap and provides shut-off when the handle is closed.
A worn ceramic disc cartridge can cause water to continue dripping from the tap spout when the tap is turned off. Replacing the correct cartridge restores the internal hot-water flow control and shut-off function.
