The compatible Blanco Cubic hot ceramic valve might be replaced when the kitchen tap begins to drip from the spout or the handle. Tap handles that are stiff to turn might also be a reason.
Though the cartridges do not control water temperature, the hot and cold inserts cannot be interchanged. This is because both sides open with different rotations. The rotations are – usually – clockwise to open for hot and anti-clockwise to open for cold.
