Spare Part Help: Abode Fluid Monobloc Tap Cartridge Hot Insert Installation

Before proceeding to replace the cartridge of the Abode Fluid Monobloc tap, please close the water supply to prevent unnecessary scalding or cold shock. Installing the cartridge can take just a few minutes.

1. A retaining screw is found under the tap handle. Loosen the screw with a 2mm Allen key until the handle can be removed from the tap body.

2. Once the handle is removed, you can now see the top of the Abode Fluid Monobloc tap cartridge. Use a 12mm spanner against the nut of the tap cartridge and turn it anti-clockwise. This will remove the cartridge from the tap seat.

3. Load the Abode Fluid Monobloc replacement cartridge in the tap seat. Screw it in with your hand and tighten with the spanner. Please remember to not overdo the tightening.

4. Reinstall the tap handle and redo the retaining screw.
