Spares for Grohe Eurosmart Cosmopolitan Single-Lever Sink Mixer 1/2 Inch
| Code | 31170000 |
|---|---|
| Year | 2010 - 2017 |
The GROHE 31170000 Eurosmart Cosmopolitan is a single-lever kitchen sink mixer with a low swivel spout and a lift-out pre-window mounting arrangement. This spare-parts page covers the GEN1 configuration manufactured from April 2010 to December 2017.
The mixer uses a 46mm ceramic cartridge to control the water flow and temperature. A worn cartridge can cause stiff lever movement, poor temperature control or water dripping from the spout when the tap is turned off. The outlet is fitted with an M22 x 1 mousseur to aerate the water and produce a smoother stream with less splashing.

The mixer is not suitable for use with unpressurised storage heaters. The hot and cold supplies should have similar pressures, and a pressure-reducing valve should be fitted where static pressure exceeds 5 bar.
Other Available Valve Generations
The spare-parts configuration changed during December 2017. Check the existing components and installation date before ordering because later-generation mounting parts should not be assumed to fit the GEN1 mixer.
Before You Order Check
Confirm that the mixer code is 31170000 and that the installed tap uses the April 2010 to December 2017 GEN1 spare-parts configuration. Compare the existing cartridge, mousseur and mounting arrangement with the parts being replaced before ordering.
