SUMMARY
Bristan VLV-04009-BL2 is a 1/2 inch compression tap cartridge used in older Bristan Omega basin tap and basin mixer installations. It is a compression style washer valve with a 24 spline broach and a 49 mm compressed height.
This cartridge controls water flow and shut-off on the tap side where it is fitted. Replacing a worn valve can help restore smoother handle operation and help resolve dripping from the spout or difficulty turning the tap fully off.
