If your Crosswater shower or bath mixer valve is experiencing any of the following problems then you may require a replacement thermostatic cartridge:

1. The thermostatic dial / handle which you turn to control the water temperature is stiff or has seized.
2. There are fluctuations in water temperature coming out of the shower mixer when there is a constant flow of hot and cold entering the mixer.
3. Water is not regulating at the correct temperature.
4. The water flow is poor when compared to the pressure of the water entering the shower mixer valve.
