When activated, hydromassage jets produce a continuous (not pulsating) spray of water to create a therapeutic massage effect for the muscles and skin. In some models the jets operate in unison while in other models the jets can be sequenced. A thermostatic valve is a valve that mixes or blends hot and cold water together to a specific temperature, thus creating a constant water temperature that is safe and helps to avoid scalding. Aromatherapy is the use of plant extracts, also known as essential oils for the purpose of aiding in a persons mood, health or cognitive function. Oils can be added through the steam outlet and will be dispersed as the cabin fills with steam. A Residual Current Device (RCD) is an electrical device connected onto the power cable before it enters the control box or steam generator. This will cut-off power to the unit if an imbalance in the live and neutral currents is detected to protect the user. An enclosed shower cubicle that includes a steam generator that can generate heated water vapour to fill the cubicle. This is likened to a steam room but designed for a home bathroom environment. A slimline shower tray that only protrudes up a few centimetres from the floor. A low profile tray is designed so that the pipes and trap sit below the floorboards or in a specially built platform.

 | 8 Inch Overhead Rainfall Shower
In addition to the hand held shower an 8 inch overhead chrome-plated rainfall shower is positioned in the roof of the cabin. This large shower head gives a unique drenching rainfall experience. |

 | Handheld Shower
Positioned on the rear panel this quality chrome hand-held shower has a long 1.5m hose for washing off the shampoo after you shower. A bracket holds the shower head when not in use. |

 | Steam Outlet with Provision for Aromatherapy Oil
You can use the control panel to set the steam temperature and time for your steam session. The steam will then fill the shower cabin from a small outlet located at the bottom of the rear panel of the Savona. |

 | 6 Back Massage Jets
Spaced on the back panel, six square body jets provide a water massage to aching back and neck muscles. These contemporary jets can be switched on or off and can be directionally positioned. |

 | Shower Function Selector
The chrome plated copper taps on the rear panel are used to operate the specific incoming water temperature, water pressure and chosen function. Simply turn the selector tap to select between the body jets, overhead and hand held shower. |

 | Thermostatic Temperature Valve
A thermostatic valve is an important device that helps eliminate those sudden bursts of scalding hot or icy cold water hitting the user. The valve will mix the hot and cold water to your selected temperature in Celsius. |

 | Fully Programmable FM Radio with Memory Function
Simply use the built-in control panel to listen to your favourite FM radio station as you detoxify in the steam. You can also store your favourite stations for quick browsing or recall. |

 | Steam: Time and Temperature Setting
Use the temperature selection button to set the shower cabin's maximum steam temperature. You can also set the length of the steam session after which point the steam generator will automatically switch off. |

 | Circulation Fan
Positioned in the roof of the steam shower cabin the circulation fan will help keep an even temperature throughout the cabin. Use the control panel to stop or start the fan. |

 | Overhead LED Lighting
Recessed in the roof of the cabin is a collection of four white LED spot lights. These can be operated using the control panel to give extra lighting while showering or an ambience during your steam session. |

 | Session Countdown Timer
Simply monitor your current steam session and work to an allocated session length. After setting the session length the countdown timer will help you monitor your remaining time. |

 | RCD (Residual Current Device) Safety
Located on the power flex the RCD will detect an imbalance in the phase of the current and terminate power to the unit if a problem is detected. This is an important device to help keep both the user and shower cabin safe. |

 | 2 Shower Shelves
Two compactly designed glass shelves are located in the corner of the cabin. These elegantly designed shelves provide an excellent place to store your shampoo, sponge and other showering utensils. |

 | Removable Wooden Bench
Designed for 1 person, the wooden bench provides seating while you enjoy your steam session. Furthermore, you can simply remove the bench if you need additional showering space. |

 | Speaker Volume Adjustment
A 'plus' and 'minus' button on the control panel allow you to increase or decrease the speaker volume to a comfortable level as you listen to the radio, CD or MP3. |

 | MP3/CD Player Input
Using a standard jack to phone audio cable you can connect your MP3 or CD player to the cabin. This allows you to listen to your favourite podcast, ebook or music while you detoxify in the shower cabin. |

 | Telephone Input
This unit has a built-in phone receiver. If connected to your telephone line you can receive incoming calls from within the cabin. |
