The Victorian Plumbing CARTT8562 is a thermostatic cartridge for selected Chatsworth and Arezzo concealed shower valves. It controls the mixed water temperature in the shower valve and is positioned behind the central temperature control on the valve body.

This cartridge is used where the temperature control cartridge is worn, scaled or no longer regulating correctly. Before ordering, visually compare the existing cartridge with CARTT8562, including the body shape, spline count, height and diameter, as variations can exist between similar looking Chatsworth and Arezzo valves.

Installation and Checking Notes

Isolate the water supply before removing the valve trim and cartridge assembly. On the triple concealed valve, the red markings on the stop rings and cartridge should be aligned when refitting so the valve returns to the approximate 38 degrees C setting. If the shower only runs hot or cold after installation, check that the hot and cold supplies have not been reversed and that the cartridge has been installed in the correct orientation.
