Summary
Vado ZOO-144/2-CARTRIDGE Shower Valve Cartridge
The ZOO-144/2-CARTRIDGE is a ceramic cartridge designed for use in the Vado ZOO concealed 2-outlet diverter valve series. It regulates water flow within the diverter body and ensures correct operation of outlet switching in compatible wall-mounted shower valves.
Function
This replacement cartridge controls flow direction between two outlets in the ZOO-144/2 diverter valve. It enables wall-mounted concealed shower valves to divert water between connected outlets when fitted correctly.
Confirmed Compatible Valve Model
- ZOO-144/2-C/P (ZOO concealed 2-way diverter valve) – the standard ZOO 2-outlet concealed wall-mounted diverter valve that lists ZOO-144/2-CARTRIDGE as its specified cartridge.
Compatibility Verification
Ensure your valve body is part of the Vado ZOO concealed 2-way diverter range and that the existing cartridge is coded ZOO-144/2 before ordering. Vado uses different cartridges across valve families; fitment must match exactly.
When to Consider Replacement
Replace the cartridge if the valve fails to divert water correctly, outlets leak, flow becomes weak or inconsistent, or outlet switching becomes stiff. Installing the replacement ZOO-144/2-CARTRIDGE can restore diverter functionality without replacing the full valve assembly.
