This is a thermostatic cartridge for the ShowerForce 1500-XT mixer valve model SP-087-0154. The 1500XT is also used on NewTeam and Bristan models (they're all the same company, part of Bristan). This cartridge will also work with the 1000XT valve.

For sale is the thermostatic cartridge only and not the housing. You can use your current valve housing and simply replace the cartridge.

If you've been experiencing a fluctuation in water temperature, or poor water flow, or if the shower handle has been difficult to turn or has been stuck, it could be that the thermostatic cartridge has seized up. A simple solution is to replace the cartridge.

This thermostatic cartridge is used in the ShowerForce 1500XT SP-087-0154 mixer valve assembly found across NewTeam Bristan and ShowerForce thermostatic power shower systems. The supplied item is the thermostatic cartridge only and does not include the surrounding mixer valve housing.

The cartridge controls the hot and cold water blend inside the shower valve to regulate the outlet temperature. A worn or seized thermostatic cartridge can cause fluctuating water temperature poor water flow or a temperature control handle that becomes stiff or difficult to turn. Where the existing SP-087-0154 valve housing remains serviceable the cartridge can be replaced while retaining the housing.
