Question: Do I have to calibrate the new INTA STSPA1 cartridge after installing it?
Answer: Inta recommends that you check the calibration after fitting the cartridge to be on the safe side and prevent injuries. This can be done by using a handheld digital thermometer. The security setting is at 38℃ (100.4℉).

To calibrate the STSPA1 in the CoolFlo Bar Shower:
– Open the flow control at its maximum setting until the temperature stabilizes.
– Place the temperature control handle on the splines of the STSPA1 cartridge and gradually turn it until 38℃ (100.4℉) is achieved.

– Remove the control handle. Then, reposition the temperature stop ring back in place. There is a red dot on the cartridge in which the stop on the stop ring must align with.
– In refitting the control handle, see to it that the mark “38℃” is in the vertical position and is positioned against the stop on the stop ring.

– Restore the washer, the screw, and the screw cap.
– Check if the calibration of the Inta STSPA1 shower thermostatic cartridge is successful.
