The Saracen D90101 is a solenoid valve for SAR infra-red tap assemblies and is listed for use with IR120 / IR121 and SAR Infrared Tap models D67513 / D67514.
The solenoid controls water flow in the electronically operated basin tap, opening and closing when the infra-red sensor and power supply call for water. A faulty or obstructed solenoid can cause no water flow, intermittent operation or water continuing to run after the sensor cycle should have ended.
