The Grohe 42383000 is a push-operated timed self-closing cartridge used in selected Euroeco Cosmopolitan T 1/2-inch self-closing pillar tap, wall-mounted tap and exposed shower valve applications. It controls the timed water flow after the push control is operated and automatically closes the water supply at the end of the selected operating period.

The cartridge provides three adjustable flow-time settings, allowing the operating period to be set to short, medium or long. GROHE specifies approximate run times of 7, 15 or 30 seconds depending on system pressure, with the cartridge factory-set to the short setting.
