Cartridge Servicing Information

The guide shows how to remove the handwheel or lever, access the cartridge and replace the cartridge using a 17mm A/F spanner or socket. It also advises checking and cleaning the inside of the valve body for debris or limescale before fitting a new cartridge.

Cartridge Turning Information

The cartridges shown on this XO assembly use black washers on both sides. Both cartridges turn on with an anti-clockwise movement. The washer colour should not be used as a hot or cold identifier.

Aerator Servicing Information

The guide covers aerator replacement for PXT011, PXT012 and PXT013 spout arrangements, including removal of the nozzle or aerator holder, cleaning inside the spout and refitting the new aerator in reverse order.
