The Inta TR20003XX is a thermostatic temperature cartridge for the Inta TR20020CP Trade-Tec Optimo dual outlet thermostatic bar shower. This cartridge controls the mixed water temperature inside the valve and is used when the shower temperature is difficult to set, unstable, not hot enough or not responding correctly to the temperature control.
The TR20020CP shower is a dual outlet thermostatic shower set with telescopic riser, overhead soaker, multi-function handset and fast fix brackets. The thermostatic cartridge should be checked against the existing valve code before ordering because the matching flow control cartridge for the same shower is a separate part.

Fitting and Checking Notes
Isolate the hot and cold supplies before work starts. The TR20020CP service procedure requires removal of the cover, retaining screw, temperature control knob, gear drive and temperature stop ring before the cartridge is unscrewed with a suitable spanner. After replacing the cartridge, the stop ring and controls should be refitted and the shower valve recalibrated.

- Symptom: shower temperature is not hot enough. Likely Cause: thermostatic cartridge movement may be restricted or calibration may be incorrect. Solution: check supply conditions, clean serviceable areas where appropriate and recalibrate after fitting.

- Symptom: water passes or drips from the outlet when turned off. Likely Cause: this is more commonly associated with the flow control cartridge rather than the temperature cartridge. Solution: check the related TR20004XX flow cartridge for the same TR20020CP shower.
