The NEOPERL P7871A Cascade aerator is an M22 female threaded tap head designed to deliver a controlled, aerated water stream at approximately 13.5 to 15 litres per minute at 3 bar. It is commonly used as a replacement aerator on basin and kitchen taps.
Function
This aerator improves water delivery by smoothing the flow and reducing splashback while maintaining a consistent output rate. Limescale buildup or internal wear can cause uneven flow or reduced performance over time.
Confirmed Compatibility
The aerator fits taps with an M22 male spout thread and sufficient recess depth to accommodate the Cascade insert. It should only be installed where the thread size and flow specification match the original aerator.
Installation Notes
Screw the aerator into the spout by hand initially to avoid cross-threading, then tighten gently. Ensure the sealing washer is correctly positioned to prevent leaks.
