Features and Useful Information about this Hingernrn -- A Di Vapor 180º Degree Glass to Glass Shower Door Hinge Clamprn -- *Important* This hinge requires a glass cut out. The technical diagram in the top right of the tech picture are the measurements of what glass cut out is needed.rn -- This will fit glass which is between 8mm and 10mm in thickness. There are plastic / rubber paddings included which can be used with glass that is less than 10mm in thickness.rn -- 59mm fixing hole to fixing holern -- Solid copper which has been chrome plated. This is of the highest Di Vapor quality and won't rust.rn -- Fits glass which is 10mm in thickness. This will also fit glass that is 4mm, 6mm and 8mm in thickness if the plastic / rubber pads which come with the hinge are used to pad the hinge out.rn -- The load weight on the hinge can be up to 45kg. This weight applies to glass doors which are up to 1 metre in width. The wider the door the more tension and stress is placed on the hinge. Even if the overall weight of the glass remains under 45KG's if the width of the glass door is 1.5 metres it will place too much strain on the hinges.rn -- Self closing. The hinge will self close the door when the door is open 30º degrees or less.rn -- Square edge hingern -- The hinge has been tested to open and close a shower door up to 100,000 times.rn -- Designed to fit onto a glass panel as per the technical diagram.
