Bristan CART06710 40mm Lever Replacement for Prism, Java & Colonial Manual Shower Valves
SUMMARY
Bristan CART06710 40mm Lever Replacement for Prism, Java & Colonial Manual Shower Valves
NOTE: The design of this cartridge has changed and will no longer reflect the photos.
Bristan CART06710 is a 40mm manual lever cartridge used in selected older Bristan Prism Java and Colonial shower valves. It is the internal operating cartridge for the manual shower control and is used to restore correct valve operation when the existing cartridge has become worn or damaged.
The supplied CART06710 design has changed over time and may no longer look the same as older cartridge photographs. Identification should therefore be based on the shower model and cartridge code rather than appearance or diameter alone.
A worn manual cartridge can cause poor lever operation or difficulty shutting the water off fully. Water continuing to drip from the shower head when the control is turned off can also indicate a fault in the cartridge although the valve and seals should be checked before ordering.
