A - Thermostatic cartridges can last for up to 30 years but can also unfortunately fail after a few years. It's rare that they can fail after five years but a replacement cartridge can often fix the problem.

Q - The shower is still running at lukewarm temperature even after advanced cleaning of the cartridge?
A - Cleaning out the O-rings, cartridge filters and descaling all of the aspects of your showerhead can be a fix that will last for several months. If aspects of the cartridge fail the only solution is to replace the entire cartridge.

Q - The only way to change the temperature of my water is by restricting the water flow:
A - A new thermostatic cartridge will allow you to change the temperature of your water without having to restrict water flow to your showerhead first.

Q - Is it possible to return a cartridge?
A - If a cartridge does not work and it remains undamaged you can likely bring it back with very light use. Just be careful not to mark or damage the cartridge in any way.
