Turning up the heat this Autumn!

As the temperature begins to drop and autumn is just round the corner, there is no better time to invest in the latest heating products for your bathroom and home. Here are just a few select ideas from Di Vapor as to what you should keep your eye on this season:

Underfloor heating

Underfloor heating is a cost effective way of providing overall warmth across the surface area of your bathroom whilst eliminating any cold spots. With most systems, a metre squared operates at around 150W, so the average sized bathroom can be maintained at a comfortable temperature for a reasonable cost.  Electric wire versions of the system can be installed under newly laid tile floors with ease, whilst foil heaters can be paired with laminated or wood surfaces.

Heated Towel Rails

A heated towel rail is now considered a must-have item in the bathroom, with a variety of practical and show-stopping designs available to buy. If space is limited and there is only room for a single radiator, a towel rail is a perfect solution for providing heat in your bathroom whilst drying your damp towels. Dual-fuel and electric models provide plenty of options of suit all bathroom requirements, without having to change the entire heating system in your home.

Home Infrared Sauna

Many of us tend to take full advantage of saunas when we visit hotels, holiday resorts or even the gym. This season why not look into investing into your own personal sauna cabin for your home. New free-standing infrared sauna cabins eliminate the need for plumbing or water membrane proofing, so they can be installed in any room that boasts a standard 3 pin socket. With sizes ranging from 1 person to 4 person, infrared saunas are a perfect way to warm yourself to the core this autumn!

DIY Plumbing – online!

A new resource has been launched to allow would-be plumbers to have a go at some do-it-yourself plumbing around the home. Not only is this an opportunity for those interested to develop their own understanding and skill set, it’s a great way to save money on that new shower enclosure installation you’ve been planning by completing the work yourself.

Heating and Plumbing solutions (http://www.heating-and-plumbing-solutions.com) provide an endless resource of guides from working with plumbing basics to more complex tasks such as installing a new bathroom suite or changing your boiler.

The service is available immediately for an annual fee of £30 per year. Considering the costs you may save doing the work yourself this really is a “no brainer”. There is even an online support service that allows you to discuss plumbing matters and any questions you may have with the experts.
