South Central Ambulance Service Campaign

Last week, South Central Ambulance Service (SCAS) launched their hard-hitting film, ‘999 South Central’ to show how lives are put at risk when 999 is called inappropriately.

In 2011, they received 1,235 hoax calls and many more inappropriate ones. Requests to attend broken fingernails, change light bulbs, provide lifts home and fix broken TV remote controls are just a few examples.
